We can custom design a timber frame home just for you. In addition to the frame design, we provide home plans (elevations, floor plans, foundation plans, specifications, sections and details) for the entire project.   We work with you to determine whether a fully timber framed home or a hybrid timber framed home will work best for your new home.

Custom home design can start with a sketch on a napkin or with one of our pre-designed plans. The key is to design a home that works for you. We encourage you to visit our gallery for ideas.timber frame home

We offer plans on TimberStead to get you started. These plans can be revised to be your own custom home design.

You should be very involved in designing your timber frame. As you review plans, you will be drawn to a particular design style and should listen to your instincts.  Your new home should compliment nearby homes and the land upon which you build.  It should work well for you and your lifestyle.  We listen, a critical skill in helping you determine the size and style of your timber frame home.  We help you pull together all of this information into a timber frame home plan that will bear your signature.

We enjoyed reading your ideas in the recent article “A Welcoming Home” in the latest Timber Home Living. You have such a wealth of knowledge and a great eye for what works ….and you’re so happy to share it. We’re so glad to be working with you. -The Millers, FL
